Choose with care化 is extremely common as a grammatical suffix - 現代化 modernisation, 化學 chemistry. Alone it can read as a fragment of a longer technical word.
Pairs well with蛻變 is transformation in the metamorphosis sense and is genuinely admired as an image of personal change. It reads far better than 化 alone.
