Choose with care聚 is a verb, to gather. There is no Chinese noun matching the English abstraction togetherness, so anything you pick names an act or a state rather than a quality.
Pairs well with團圓 says warmth and completeness where 聚 only says assembly, and it is the phrase families use at the New Year table.
