Two versions of the same picture, and both are free with no account and no watermark. The first has no background at all, which is the one to send your artist — but a phone or computer photo viewer set to dark will show black strokes on dark grey and it can look like nothing downloaded. Choose with care星 alone is the modern word for a celebrity, so a single star character can read as pop star rather than night sky.
Pairs well with星辰 or 星空 both give you the sky full of stars, which is usually what people mean by starlight.
At small sizes星 is nine strokes, sun over life, and stays legible small. The two-character form needs proportional spacing to look balanced.
