Choose with care鯊 has no admiring sense in Chinese. It is not a symbol of power the way it can be in English; it is simply a dangerous fish.
At small sizes18 strokes stacked top to bottom. The vertical build is elegant but the fish element at the base fills in below roughly 4cm.
Cultural note鮫人 are the pearl-weeping sea people of old Chinese texts, the nearest thing to a mermaid. If that image appeals, 鮫 carries it and 鯊 does not.
