Choose with care豬 is a live insult in Chinese. 豬頭 means idiot and 笨得像豬 means stupid as a pig. A standalone 豬 tattoo reads as calling yourself stupid.
Pairs well withIf you want the zodiac sign without the insult, 亥 or 豕 says pig to anyone who knows and says nothing careless to anyone who does not.
Cultural noteThe zodiac pig is genuinely positive — ease, plenty, a comfortable life. That reading works on a New Year card, but it does not rescue the character on skin.
