Two versions of the same picture, and both are free with no account and no watermark. The first has no background at all, which is the one to send your artist — but a phone or computer photo viewer set to dark will show black strokes on dark grey and it can look like nothing downloaded. Choose with care靜 means quiet as much as calm, and is used for silence, quiet places and being still. For staying calm under pressure, 冷靜 or 鎮定 is the word.
Pairs well with平靜 for a calm surface, 寧靜 for tranquillity, 心靜 for a quiet mind.
At small sizes靜 is sixteen strokes split evenly into two busy halves. It is structurally clear at moderate size, but below roughly three centimetres it fills in.
